Remember with Carbs, we have starchy carbs: bread, rice and other grains, root vegetables such as potatoes – include fruits, alcohol and soda/juices etc in this category. Plus above the ground vegetables; greens, broccoli, zucchini, salads – all vegetables that grow above the ground – delicious and nutritious!
Proteins can be plant or animal based.
Fats such as oils, butter, cheese, nuts and seeds. Whether they are applied directly onto a salad as a dressing, or what you cook your food in.
